The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center offers more than 85,000 square feet of affordable, highly-configurable meeting, exhibit and pre-function space in the heart of downtown Anchorage.
A generation of Alaskans have come together at the Egan Center to do business, network, celebrate and be entertained; with the completion of an almost $3 million upgrade in 2009, the Egan Center has been renewed for 2010 and beyond. From conventions and expos to intimate family gatherings, there’s a space at the Egan Center for your event.

The 19,306 square feet of Explorers Hall have been the stage for concerts and conventions, trade shows and dog shows, meetings and mergers. For smaller events, Explorers Hall can be subdivided into 3 self-contained spaces—Cook, Arteaga and La Perouse Halls—to ensure the room (and the budget) meet your requirements.

The 11,228-square feet of Summit Hall are the most flexible, affordable event space in Anchorage. Divisible into as many as 14 individual rooms ranging from 570 to 1,368 square feet each, Summit Hall's modular wall systems allow for any number of permutations to suit your events needs. The smaller Spurr and O’Malley rooms are adjacent to Summit Hall, and offer excellent administrative office space.
